One of my favorite things about being back out west is getting to experience the culture. It was one of the things I missed when I left, and I am excited to get to experience it again. Now, when most people hear the word culture, they think art museums, fancy restaurants, and concert halls. But when I talk about culture out here, I'm talking about rodeos, bull riding, and country dancing- country culture!
For my first time since I was in Montana, I got to see some bull riding. Me and some friends made the short drive down to Lewiston this past weekend to watch some bull riding. Although only one guy ended up actually getting a score, it was still a lot of fun. None of my pictures came out very well, but I have included some anyway. The first one shows the last remnant of the sunset, which was very nice. The second one is a very blurry picture of a guy about to get knocked off a bull. I also included a video of one ride, which shows how almost the entire night went for the bull riders. The bulls definitely won on Saturday night.
I still need to post some pictures of a really nice horse ride I went on last week, and I am probably going to be doing some camping this weekend, so hopefully I'll have some nice pictures from that too.
